Route 66 Palomino

This motel in Tucumcari, New Mexico is but one of the historic sites along this stretch of Route 66. When I saw this nostalgic landmark I knew I had to paint it. It reminded me of many similar motels from my childhood traveling around Texas and Arkansas with my family. The painting is in a museum quality frame with an antique vibe.
